Aberystwyth’s exiting new £9 million Marina named Y Lanfa opened for business in 1995. The picturesque harbour of the West Wales seaside town has been dramatically remodelled to provide permanent berths for over 160 vessels, signalling a major boost for the University town and Mid Wales Tourism. The Marina offers a fully serviced facilities including:
Doug Edwards is our Associate Marina specialist for North Wales, he is fully mobile and able to get to all sites quickly.Doug is one of our most experienced Yacht Brokers and has been with us for over nine years. He has very successfully handled a great many negotiations of used Sail and Power boats and is keen to help you when you are ready to sell your boat.
A competent photographer and writer, Doug will meet with you and prepare a professional Sales Brochure to market your vessel on our many and key websites. He will then actively seek out buyers and show them over the boat at a time convenient to them.
He has a wealth of knowledge with regard to Boat title paperwork and Registration, Surveyors, Finance, Insurance and Transportation to assist potential buyers he shows over your boat.

The Welsh Harbours of Fishguard, Cardigan, New Quay, Aberaeron, Barmouth, Porthmadog, Aberdyfi, and Abersoch are within easy reach, as are the Marina’s at Pwllheli, Conwy, Milford Haven and Neyland. Meanwhile for the more experienced sailors the Marina’s and harbours of Ireland’s East Coast are within a days sailing.
The Marina can accommodate in excess of 160 permanent berths for annual rent. In addition a number of visitor moorings are also available (It is advisable to contact the Marina office prior to arrival to arrange Visitor Moorings).
