Dickies Marine Services at Port Penrhyn Bangor North Wales today announced that we have just ordered a New Wise 40 Ton boat hoist for delivery towards the end of the year. Barrie Sutcliffe, Managing Director of Wise, can be seen above visiting the site and meeting with our Yard Manager Ben Williams to finalise the design details.

This New piece of machinery will replace the existing 30 ton hoist, one of the first built by Wise back in the 80’s. The New hoist will enable us to handle an increased number of both Leisure and commercial craft quickly and safely. We are hoping this new addition will be attractive to a bigger range of leisure craft from the many moorings and berths on the Menai Straits and the increasing number of commercial craft serving the existing and newly proposed wind farm developments off the North Wales coast.

We will next season be offering a range of lift out package deals for bottom scrubs, anode changes, survey holds etc, alongside the usual lifting services, all at very attractive prices.
