2008 Humber 35 Flybridge

This Humber 35 was originally manufactured by Humber to a design by the famous Nelson 40 designer John Askham. The Hull was laid up in 1998 but her fit out and launch was not until 2008.

Semi displacement hull of GRP hull deck and superstructure. Hull finished in blue, and the interior fit out in oak.

Avalon has 2 cabins, able to berth 7 people, which makes her ideal for cruising with family and friends. 

Cabin Types:-

Double v bed for'd with ensuite, door to galley and dining area, stairs up to saloon and inside steering consul, stairs down to aft cabin with walk round double bed and ensuite. Aft raised flybridge with seating and steering position. Stern access to davits / RIB and swim platform.

Accommodation:-

Comprises of 2 cabin layouts with capacity for 7 berths. She has 2 heads with holding tank and benefits from Eberspacher cabin heating

• Ensuites both consist of toilet, storage cuboards, basin and shower, both toilets are vacuum operated.
• Hot water for shower and domestic use provided by a calorifier.

Fitted with twin Cummins 688TA5.9-M1 turbo charged, 250hp each, shaft driven inboard diesel engines. Engine year of build is 2008. These give an approximate cruising speed of 12 knots and top speed of circa 28knots. Fitted with hydraulic steering.

I was informed the Hull was moulded in 1998 and the Hull fitted out and boat launched in 2008. The boat had 2 previous owners and I arranged survey (AVAILABLE ON REQUEST) to determine condition on purchase. Both engines were fully serviced in 2022 and the generator serviced in 2023.
New engine heat exchangers were fitted in 2022. All action items in the 2020 survey were addressed.

• New Stainless steel double electric horn fitted 2020
• New shaft seals fitted 2018. Ambassador Marine 2 blade rope cutters fitted 2020.
• New anchor light and deck spot light fitted 2020
• Vessel is fitted with Bennett Auto Trim Tabs. Eberspatcher heater serviced 2022.
• Vessel was hauled out 11/2023, hull cleaned, Anodes replaced, sea valves checked/serviced, hull antifouled, water line repainted, propellers cleaned. Bilges cleaned by owner at same time.
• Both steering positions have auto helm
• Anchor control locally and remotely from inside steering position
• Full set of instrument electrical and mechanical manuals onboard
• Life-raft new 2022.
• Glomex TV signal control
